Sanctuary in the Senedd
Kindly sponsored by Lesley Griffiths AM, Minister for Communities and Tackling Poverty
What does a Nation of Sanctuary mean to you?
Join the Welsh Refugee Coalition* on Human Rights Day to discuss how Wales can become the first Nation of Sanctuary.
Wales has a proud history of providing sanctuary to those fleeing violence and persecution. We want to see this tradition continue. On the 10th December we will be joined by refugees and asylum seekers, politicians and others to discuss what a Nation of Sanctuary means to us and the steps we need Welsh Government to take to make this vision a reality. Join us for a programme full of ideas, refugee testimony and debate.
We will be in the Senedd from 10:30am-2:00pm with a programme full of discussion and debate. Full details will be provided in due course. If you would like to join us please register here:-
Date: 10th December 2015
Time: 10:30am – 2pm (lunch will be provided)
